1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website, scheduling services, or authorizing work with Greater Home Efficiency (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Client,” “Property Owner,” “User,” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of our website and services immediately.
2. Services Provided
Greater Home Efficiency provides residential and commercial insulation and home efficiency solutions, including:
- Comprehensive Insulation Installation: Thermal and acoustic insulation installation tailored for attics, exterior/interior walls, floors, crawlspaces, and designated building envelopes.
- Insulation Removal & Environmental Cleanup: Safe removal, extraction, and disposal of aged, damaged, or contaminated insulation materials.
- Mechanical Attic Ventilation: Installation and integration of active airflow systems, powered attic fans, and mechanical exhaust units to regulate temperature and moisture.
- Passive Attic Ventilation Solutions: Installation of ridge vents, soffit vents, gable vents, and passive air exchange systems to ensure proper attic breathability.
- Radiant Barrier Installation: Application of reflective radiant heat barriers to reduce solar heat gain and thermal transfer.
- Air Sealing Services: Professional sealing of building envelope penetrations, attic hatches, plumbing stacks, electrical penetrations, top plates, and structural joints to minimize air leakage.
- Home Energy & Efficiency Inspections: On-site thermal assessments, air-leakage evaluations, and comprehensive home energy efficiency audits.
The precise scope, specifications, and costs for each project will be outlined in a separate Written Estimate, Proposal, or Work Order.
2.1 Business Identity Clause
Greater Home Efficiency sends SMS messages to opted-in users regarding Account Notifications, Appointment Confirmations/Reminders, Service/Product Inquiries, Customer Care, and occasional promotional offers.

3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and successful installation, you agree to:
- Be at least 18 years of age and hold legal authorization to approve work on the designated property.
- Provide clear, unobstructed access to the work area, attics, crawlspaces, electrical panels, and water sources required to complete the project.
- Disclose all known pre-existing property defects or hazards prior to project commencement, including active water leaks, mold/fungal growth, pest infestations, unsafe structural framing, knob-and-tube wiring, or asbestos-containing materials.
- Secure all pets, children, and personal valuables away from active work zones during installation or removal.
- Inspect and approve completed work promptly upon project finish.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment Due Date: Full payment is strictly due immediately upon completion of the job on the same day, unless a written payment plan or alternative arrangement has been explicitly agreed upon in writing prior to work commencement.
- Late Payments: Overdue balances are subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the maximum rate allowed by law, accruing daily from the due date until paid in full.
- Collection Costs: Client shall reimburse Greater Home Efficiency for all reasonable collection costs, legal fees, and court costs incurred to collect any past-due amounts.
5. Confidentiality & Privacy
Both parties agree to treat personal and project details with confidentiality. We do not sell, rent, or lease client data to unauthorized third parties.

6. Home Efficiency & Energy Performance Disclaimer
Thermal performance, indoor air quality, and utility bill reductions vary significantly based on the dwelling’s age, square footage, structural orientation, climate, HVAC system efficiency/age, ductwork integrity, window quality, and occupant appliance usage habits.
Greater Home Efficiency does not guarantee specific monetary energy savings, utility bill reduction percentages, or exact indoor temperature differentials. We commit to performing all installations in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Greater Home Efficiency, its officers, employees, agents, and subcontractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services or work performed on the property. This includes, without limitation, loss of use, temporary displacement costs, utility rate fluctuations, or claims involving un-disclosed pre-existing structural, electrical, moisture, or environmental defects.
In no event shall Greater Home Efficiency’s total aggregate liability exceeding direct damages exceed the total amount actually paid by the Client to Greater Home Efficiency under the specific project or work order giving rise to the claim.
7.1 Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Telecommunication carriers are not liable for delayed, misrouted, or undelivered SMS/text messages.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Greater Home Efficiency, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your failure to disclose pre-existing property hazards, environmental contaminants (such as mold or asbestos), or electrical/structural deficiencies;
- Unauthorized modification, alteration, or tampering with installed insulation, air sealing, or ventilation systems after project completion by you or third parties;
- Any bodily injury or property damage resulting from failure to keep unauthorized persons, children, or pets clear of the active construction work site; or
- Your breach of any provision of these Terms.
9. Term, Cancellation, and Termination
- Termination by Company: Greater Home Efficiency reserves the right to pause or terminate services at any time prior to or during installation due to unsafe job site conditions, structural/environmental hazards, non-payment, or uncooperative client conduct.
- Cancellation by Client: Client may cancel scheduled work by providing written notice at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time, provided that no job-specific materials have been purchased or special-ordered for the project.
- Material Purchases & Non-Refundable Deposits: If the Client cancels the contract less than 48 hours before the job, or after Greater Home Efficiency has purchased or special-ordered materials for the project, any deposit or funds submitted for material expenses are strictly non-refundable. Greater Home Efficiency shall retain full ownership and possession of all purchased materials.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and all service agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
11. Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website or acceptance of our estimates and services following any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
